Description

Earlier-mid 19th century. Single storey and attic, E facing

villa of 3 bays. Harled, contrasting painted tooled ashlar

margins and dressings. Deeply recessed centre entrance with

oversailing roof linking canted outer bays supported by

later pair rustic wooden columns re-using Doric capital and

plinths. Flanking canted bays with front and angle windows,

each with slightly lugged architrave; round-headed bipartite

with blocked imposts in N and S return elevations; aproned

ground floor fenestration with 2- and 4-pane glazing. Later

shallow piended dormers N, S and rear. Angle margins, base

and eaves courses; 2 centre batteris of 4 square coped stacks

central to piended platform slate roof. Various rear

additions.

INTERIOR: little of interest. Early 19th century panelled

doors.

GARDEN WALLS AND GATEPIERS: coped rubble wall of varying

height surrounds property; entrance flanked by square tooled

ashlar gatepiers with corncied caps.
