1 Seatown Road And Garden Walls, Lossiemouth

1 Seatown Road is a late 18th century house that stands two stories high with an attic and faces west. It has three bays and features an early 19th century two-story addition at the northwest, creating an L-shape. There is also a single-story and attic wing at the south gable. The building is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins, and the projecting wing is made of squared, dressed rubble masonry.

The original house has a central entrance, which is now located in the re-entrant angle formed by the wing. The wing has an additional entrance at its gable end, flanked by a larger multi-pane window that likely served as a former shop. The house has small windows throughout, featuring 12-pane sashes, and there is a substantial modern box dormer at the rear. The building has end and wallhead stacks and is topped with slate roofs.

Additionally, there is a mid-19th century single-story and attic, two-bay wing at the west gable. The garden is enclosed by coped rubble walls to the east of the house.
