Description

The bridge over the Spynie Canal in Lossiemouth, built around 1810, features a single span arched design with sluice gates located on the southern side. It is constructed from tooled squared rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. The segmental-headed arch ring is flanked on the northern, seaward side by retaining walls that are of the same height and materials, connected by a continuous bandcourse and parapet.
