Description
24 Clifton Road in Lossiemouth is a building dating from 1784. It is a 2-storey structure with a 5-bay design and a convex curved plan. The front is made of tooled rubble, while the flanks are also rubble with tooled ashlar margins. There are some contrasting painted areas, including some tooling from the 19th century. The ground floor features regular bays with alternate doors between enlarged windows, all connected by a later fascia-bandcourse. The first floor has four windows, some of which are blocked. The building has coped end stacks, a slate roof, and a stone ridge. At the rear, there is a curved forestair leading to the first floor. Additionally, there is a single-storey modern extension with a flat roof at the back.
