Description

This is a bridge located at Muckle Burn, Barleymill, built around 1830. It features twin arches made of rubble, with segmental arch rings that have been repaired with concrete on the west side. The bridge has rounded cutwaters and tooled rubble abutments. The parapet is topped with a low tooled ashlar coping, and the approaches to the bridge are splayed. Each arch has an approximate span of 30 feet.
