Description

The stables at Brodie Castle, likely built in the 18th century with later alterations, are a two-storey structure with three bays. The building features harl pointed rubble with ashlar dressings. Both the east and west long elevations have three segmental-headed bays, each with later infilling that includes a door, a narrow window, or both, except for the central bay on the east elevation. Additionally, there are two large oculi symmetrically placed in both first-floor elevations, which serve as 'pitching eyes' for the loft.
