Description
Cluny is a classical cottage built around 1830, possibly by William Robertson from Elgin. It has later additions and is a single-storey structure with three wide bays. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins. At the center, there is a distyle in antis Doric columned portico with a pediment, featuring monolith columns. The entrance is a recessed door flanked by windows. To the left, there is a late 19th-century rectangular bay window. The cottage also has a later two-storey wing at the rear and an east gable. It features deep eaves, four coped symmetrical ridge stacks, and a shallow piended slate roof on the original house, with slate roofs on the later additions.
