Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and basement 3 bay rectangular plan villa. Coursed stugged sandstone with polished dressings; long and short quoins; stop chamfered reveals; dividing band course.

SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; principal floor reached by central platt; central pedimented pilastered doorpiece breaking eaves, with carved consoles supporting pediment; timber door with semi circular fanlight reached by 3 steps; segmental arched bipartite windows with central keystones to flanking bays; regular fenestration to basement.

SE ELEVATION: asymmetrical; squared and snecked sandstone; round arched window with central keystone to centre of principal floor; segmental arched window to outer left; porch off centre to left of basement with piended roof and 2 segmental arched windows.

NE ELEVATION: not seen 1997.

NW ELEVATION: symmetrical; segmental arched window to outer left and right of principal floor; porch to centre of basement with piended roof and 2 segmental arched windows.

Replaced 2 pane PVC sash and case windows. Purple grey slate piended roof with lead ridges; cast iron rainwater goods; coped stugged shouldered wallhead stacks with octagonal cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

BOUNDARY WALL AND RAILINGS: rubble sandstone wall with angled semi circular coping surmounted by simple cast iron railings.
