Description
View Bank House and its summerhouse, built around 1900, feature a charming and rustic timber summerhouse located in the garden of Viewbank House. The summerhouse has a cruciform plan and is gabled with a king post detail. It is timber framed, constructed with logs arranged randomly on a textured cork ground. The windows are leaded and adorned with stained glass floral designs. The roof is made of grey slate with red clay ridge tiles and includes a central pyramidal timber ventilator. Inside, the summerhouse has a timber slatted interior.
