Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay symmetrical flatted villa, steep terraced garden to rear. Pink sandstone, ashlar front, cement harling to rear and sides with painted margins. Base course; raised margins; overhanging eaves with shallow brackets; rounded reveals.

N (FRONT) ELEVATION: deep-set doorway to centre with panelled piers, panelled door and border-glazed fanlight; regular fenestration at 1st floor and to outer bays.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: small square-plan piend-roofed service block to outer left; bridge access to 1st floor doorway to centre, decorative iron railings. Single windows.

E ELEVATION: central wallhead stack; 2 single windows. 4-pane timber sash and case windows to front, 12-lying pane windows to rear (modern?). Piended slate roof; grooved wallhead stacks with sunk cans to E, W and to service block.

INTERIOR: not seen 1993.

Low rubble wall to front with saddleback coping.
