West Lodge, 1 Davidson Drive, Gourock

West Lodge, located at 1 Davidson Drive in Gourock, is a small single-storey, three-bay T-plan lodge building, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is situated on sloping ground and constructed from cream sandstone with coursed rubble and droved ashlar dressings. The building features raised margins and overhanging eaves with exposed rafters.

The northwest (front) elevation has a central doorway flanked by small windows. The southwest and northeast elevations each have a single window. The southeast (rear) elevation includes a rear jamb with a secondary doorway in the re-entrant angle.

The lodge has timber sash and case windows, primarily with four panes, although some have twelve panes of glazing. The roof is piended and covered with slate, featuring metal flashings and a central stack. The interior was not seen in 1993.
