Description
This mid 18th century dovecot at Lethen House is constructed with harl pointed masonry. It features a centrally located south-facing door, a single rat course, and a single gabled dormer that includes flight holes. The structure has crowsteps and cavetto skewputts, topped with a local slate roof. Inside, the dovecot is lined with nearly 500 stone nesting boxes, starting 2 feet above the floor level.
