Description

This mid 19th century dovecot is square in shape and features a piend roof with three stages. It is located next to a tall rubble screen wall to the north. The dovecot is constructed from coursed rubble with rubble quoins and has ashlar margins. There is a low doorway on the west side with a square opening above it, and a rectangular opening close under the eaves that includes four flight holes. The eaves line shows evidence of buildings that were once attached to the south and east, which are no longer present. The roof is covered with graded grey slates.
