Description

Later 19th century, 2-storey south facing asymmetrical

3-bay gate lodge with L-plan frontage. Coursed rubble,

tooled ashlar dressings. Near centre entrance in

re-entrant with double leaf plank door and ornate cast-iron

hinges; projecting gabled wing to left with tripartite

in ground floor; bipartite in ground floor of east gable;

chamfered architraves; lattice pane glazing; carved

stone rose, thistle and shamrock apex finials; battery

of 3 octagonal ridge stacks; slate roof.
