Description

The gatepiers and gates at Newhall House date from around 1805. They are made of ashlar stone and feature square-plan gatepiers with cornices and fluted friezes. The site includes cast-iron carriage gates that are flanked by pedestrian gateways. Concave, broached ashlar screen walls connect the gatepiers to similar end piers.
