Description

Gordon's Mills, dated 1796, is a two-storey building constructed of rubble with the lower portion of the wheel-gable made of ashlar. Originally, it had a square plan with three bays, but it was later extended northwards by an additional bay. Although the wheel and machinery have been removed, there are still marks of the wheels on the south gable, and two mill stones remain on the first floor. The building has a slated roof and has undergone significant alterations, currently being used as a corn store.
