Description

Ferry House in Balblair is a tall three-storey building constructed in 1820 by Hector Holm, with masonry work done by Alexander Mackenzie and John Gordon from Invergordon. The house has three bays and features a central door, with the exterior harled and accented by painted ashlar margins. The second-floor windows are raised and topped with piended dormer heads, while a later window has been added to the right of the door. There are single-storey wings at the south gable and at the rear, along with various later extensions. The roofs are slated.
