Description
This is a late 19th-century greenhouse, originally part of Rosehaugh House in Avoch Parish, Ross and Cromarty, and subsequently moved to Westwood Urray Parish, Ross and Cromarty, before its current location at Birchwood, Lentran Muir of Ord. It is a polygonal structure with a low, harled base and a coped top course. The base supports a continuous range of two-light windows, each with a rounded top that springs from small capitals at the impost level. Decorative glazing patterns are found on the front and rear doors. The roof is octagonal, topped with a leaded, ogee cupola and a ball finial. The listing applies to the greenhouse alone.
