Description

The bridge at Berriedale consists of a pair of single-span rubble bridges, built around 1815 by Thomas Telford. They are situated close together, spanning the confluence of the Berriedale and Langwell waters. Each bridge features a dressed rubble arch wing and a low, dressed rubble parapet. Splayed approaches lead to the bridges. The structures are now bypassed. The statutory address is 2 Bridges over Berriedale and Langwell Waters, Berriedale.
