Description
This is a later 19th century terrace of three houses, facing north. The terrace comprises three bays per house and is single-storey with an attic. The houses are harled, with a symmetrical arrangement. Each house features a shallow, projecting, gabled timber porch which obscures the central entrance. Three gabled dormers break the wallhead of each house, incorporating four-pane glazing. The roofs are covered in Welsh slate and have ridge and end stacks. Outshot extensions are present at the rear of the properties. The group value excludes former stables and cart sheds located between Portland Terrace and the mill, as these have undergone modern enlargement of their openings. The statutory address for the terrace is 1, 2, 3, Portland Terrace, Berriedale.
