Description
This is a late 19th century, north-facing terrace of three, three-bay houses. The houses are all harled. Each house features a centrally positioned front door concealed behind a shallow, projecting gabled timber porch, and three gabled dormers breaking the wallhead. The windows are sash windows with four panes of glass. The building has ridge and end stacks, and a Welsh slate roof. Rear extensions jut out from the original structure. The group value of the terrace excludes the former stables and cart sheds located between Portland Terrace and the mill, as these have been modernised with enlarged openings. The statutory address for numbers 1, 2, and 3 Portland Terrace, Berriedale, is Portland Terrace.
