Description
This is a later 19th century terrace of three houses, facing north. It is a symmetrical design, with each house having three bays. The houses are harled and feature a shallow, projecting gabled timber porch in the centre of each, masking the front door. Three gabled dormers break the wallhead of each house. The windows have four panes to each sash, and there are ridge and end stacks. The roofs are covered in Welsh slate. Outshot extensions project from the rear. The terrace is part of a group value context, though the former stables and cart sheds located between Portland Terrace and the mill are excluded, as they have been modernly enlarged. The statutory address for the terrace is 1, 2, and 3 Portland Terrace, Berriedale.
