1 Review Park Cottages, Golspie

1 and 2 Review Park Cottages are a pair of cottages dating from around 1800, exhibiting slight variations in design.

Number 1 is a single-storey and attic, three-bay cottage with a central door. It is harled (roughcast) with painted ashlar margins. Later, piended dormers (hipped roof dormers) break the wallhead in the outer bays. The original small, central window is close to the wallhead, featuring a sliding sash with 12 panes of glazing. Details of the window's proportions are present at the angles. The cottage has droved ashlar (roughly finished) coped end stacks and a slate roof. A single-storey, single-bay wing is located at the rear.

Number 2 is set back and abuts the north gable of Number 1, and is also a single-storey and attic, three-bay cottage with a small single-storey, single-bay extension at its north gable. Like Number 1, it is harled with painted ashlar margins. It has two piended dormers in the outer bays, 12-pane glazing, droved ashlar end stacks, and a slate roof.
