Description
These are late 19th-century kennels, built as a single-story row with projecting, gabled end bays. Each kennel has a walled and paved yard in front. The entire structure is fronted by a high outer wall. The kennels are constructed of coursed rubble stone with dressed details and stone copes. A single-story, three-bay bothy adjoins the west wall, featuring a central door on the west elevation and a window in the centre of the south gable. The bothy has lattice-pane glazing, crowsteps with apex finials, a central ridge stack, and slate roofs. Square gate piers with pyramidal caps are situated in the centre of the west wall, and at the southwest and southeast angles. Cast-iron spearhead railings are also present.
