Description

Rheguile, located in Meikle Daan, is a house that originated in the later 17th century and underwent remodelling in the later 18th century. It is a two-storey building featuring three asymmetrical bays and a northwest projection that conceals part of a 17th century staircase. The structure is built from rubble and harled. The near-central door has a reused lintel dated 1680, which bears the initials AM.MF. The house has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
