Description

Forbes Fountain, located on Ladies Walk in Inverness, was designed by architect A R Henderson from London and sculpted by D & A Davidson between 1879 and 1882. The fountain has undergone significant alterations since its original construction. It is made of granite and features four diagonally set buttresses that resemble a crown spire. These buttresses support a circular basin, from which columns rise to hold a quatrefoil basin at the center.
