Description
The Post Office on Castle Street in Dornoch was built around 1900 in the Arts and Crafts style. It features a mix of rubble and tooled ashlar dressings and has an asymmetrical design with two storeys. The south elevation includes two entrances with hood moulds, one of which has "Post Office" carved on a curved lintel. The building has a gabled roof and is adorned with two- and three-light windows that have multi-pane glazing. It also has tall end stacks, a slate roof, and a red tile ridge.
