Description
The fountain dedicated to Miss Georgina Anderson, located on Castle Street in Dornoch, was constructed in 1892. It is made of painted cast iron and features a small cherub holding a water jar at the center of a shallow circular dish. This dish is supported by a pedestal that is under a canopy, which is carried by four columns. Above the arches of the columns are medallions, and there is a decorative column in the center that holds a gas lamp. The entire structure stands on a square plinth that is accessed by three shallow stone steps.
