Description

1 and 2 High Street in Dornoch are a terrace of three houses built in the earlier 19th century. These two-storey and attic homes each have three bays and are constructed from dressed rubble with tooled dressings and harled flanks. Each house features a central door, two small piended dormers, a corniced ridge, and end stacks, all topped with slate roofs. Number 1 has an enlarged shop window and a side entrance, while Number 2 has two enlarged shop windows. Swn-y-Coed, one of the houses, has a double-leafed door with 12-pane glazing.
