Description
West Deanery is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house featuring a central door. There is a slightly lower two-storey, single bay extension on the west gable, which has a modern projecting porch that covers the side entrance. The building is constructed of random rubble with heavy cement pointing and ashlar margins, with some harling at the rear. It has 12-pane glazing and multi-pane glazing on the central door, along with a corniced stack and a slate roof. Additionally, there is a low coped dressed rubble retaining wall with spearhead cast-iron railings.
