Description

32 and 34 Bargate are a pair of two-storey buildings dating to the early 19th century. They are constructed of rubble with a Welsh slate roof and yellow brick chimneys. The buildings have four windows each. Those at number 32 have hung sash windows with glazing bars and stone lintels, while number 34 has modern three-light windows with rendered lintels. Number 32 features a single hung sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor, alongside a plain door and a rectangular fanlight. Number 34 has two modern windows and a modern door, set beneath a stone lintel. The buildings are included as part of a group which also comprises numbers 22-26 (even), 30-42 (even), and 46-56 (even).
