Description

No. 42 Bargate is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed from uncoursed rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The façade features three windows, with the centre window blocked, and modern casements. On the ground floor, there are two additional windows. The entrance has a modern door set in a plain wood case, which is adorned with pilasters and a cornice, along with a rectangular fanlight above. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 22 to 26 (even), Nos 30 to 42 (even), and Nos 46 to 56 (even).
