Description

No. 53 Bargate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from coursed rubble and roughcast. It features a steep pantile roof with a brick chimney. On each storey, there is a modern three-light casement window. To the right, there is a modern door with steps leading up to it, along with a plain passage door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 41 to 47 (odd) and Nos. 51 to 57 (odd), as well as the premises occupied by the Richmond Operatic Society.
