Description
Linton House is a mid-18th century building located on Bargate. It is two storeys high and constructed in ashlar stone, featuring rusticated quoins. The façade has three windows with stone flat arches, hung sashes, and glazing bars. There is a bow window on the ground floor and a central six-panel door topped with a small traceried fanlight. The door is framed by a plain stone architrave that extends down to the plinth. In front, there is a small terrace with railings. To the right, there is a side door with a rusticated architrave. Linton House is part of a group that includes Nos 41 to 47 (odd) and Nos 51 to 57 (odd), as well as the premises occupied by the Richmond Operatic Society.
