Description

These are two houses, numbered 7 and 8, located on the north side of Stoke Hill. They were built in the later 18th century. The houses are two storeys high and constructed from coursed rubble. Number 7 has a Welsh slate roof and a single window on each of the main floors, along with a flat-topped dormer. Number 8 has a shallow stone slate roof and three widely spaced windows on the first floor, without glazing bars. The pair of houses occupies a prominent site where the road begins to narrow, causing them to sit at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the houses on the south side.
