Description

The Manse on Bridge Street in Kelso was built in 1801 and is a two-storey building with an attic and basement. The south front features five bays, with a central door that is accessed by railed steps over an area. The door has a moulded surround and is topped by a dentil cornice. The exterior is harled, with polished ashlar window margins and angle quoins. The roof is piended and slated with a bell-cast design, and there are two platform-roofed dormers in the attic. Brick stacks are located at the flanks of the building.
