Description
6 Abbey Court in Kelso is likely a mid-18th century building that was altered in the later 19th century. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and features a symmetrical front with three bays, plus an additional canted bay to the west that follows the line of the road. The first and third bays have had their windows enlarged to bipartite windows on each floor. The fourth bay includes a garage opening at ground level, and the original square window on the second floor has been enlarged. The roof is slated, with a straight skew to the east, and there are rendered rectangular stacks along with three small catslide dormers in the attic.
