Description
Glenshiel Parish Church is a building of ecclesiastical use, orientated east/west, with a core dating back to 1756. It was repaired, enlarged, and re-roofed in 1840, and further repairs and refitting were carried out in 1866 by Alexander Ross. The church is a simple, oblong, harled 4-bay building with a west gable entrance. The north elevation features four long 18-pane sash windows, while each gable has a 12-pane sash window. A small bellcote, added in 1866, sits atop the ridge. The interior is simple and galleried, with rubble stone walls.
