It has an irregular three-bay layout and is harled, likely over rubble, with some rounded corners that have been corbelled out to support a later slate roof. The cottage includes a projecting square porch and three modern segmental-headed dormers, with two located at the rear. It also has two ridge stacks and a piended slate roof.
