Description
21 Sandend is a mid to late 19th century single storey and attic cottage with an irregular five-bay layout. The building is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted margins. The front features an alternating pattern of window-door-window, and there are three later gabled dormers that break the wallhead, all with 4-pane glazing. It has end and ridge stacks and a slate roof that includes loft roof lights. A later external staircase leads to a first-floor external porch and upper floor, which abuts the seaward gable.
