Description
27 Sandend is a cottage from the later 19th century, which may include parts from an earlier building. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and features three main bays. There are single-storey wings, one with two bays, that project from each gable. The cottage is built of rubble with contrasting painted long and short dressings, and the seaward gable is harled stone. The central entrance has a panelled door, and there is a similar door in the two-bay wing. The outer bays have gabled dormers that break the wallhead, and the windows feature four-pane glazing. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof, while the wings are covered with corrugated asbestos.
