Description

25 Sandend is a late 19th century cottage with an earlier core. It is a single-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is rendered, painted, and lined to resemble ashlar stone. The entrance is centrally located, with later enlarged bipartite windows on either side. There is a small ground floor window in the seaward gable that is consistent in size with early 19th century single-storey cottages. The cottage has two gabled dormers and uses 2- and 4-pane glazing. It has coped end stacks and a slate roof, which includes a loft roof light. At the rear, there is a single-storey extension without dormers and a later addition for a bathroom.
