Description
1 Sandend is an early 19th century cottage that has been later heightened. It is a single storey building with a dormerless attic and features three bays. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with contrasting painted margins. The central entrance has a panelled door, and there are small windows, including a single window in the seaward gable, with 2- and 4-pane glazing. The cottage is supported by boulder footings and has end stacks. The roof is covered with slate and includes loft roof lights.
