Description
6 Crovie is a cottage built in the late 18th to early 19th century, with later heightening. It is a single storey and attic, three-bay structure. The front is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, while the sides are harled with contrasting painted margins. The central entrance is flanked by small windows, and there is a single window in the seaward (north) gable. A gabled dormer, added around 1900, features a two-light window that breaks the wallhead. The cottage mainly has two-pane glazing, with multi-pane glazing in the upper sashes of the dormer. It has end stacks and a slate roof. There is a small rubble extension at the south gable, which includes a doorway and a corrugated-asbestos roof.
