Description
1 Crovie is an early 19th-century, two-storey cottage with a basement and raised ground floor. It features three bays and is built against the side of a slope, with a single-storey, two-bay addition at the seaward (north) gable. The structure is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted margins and has a harled extension. The entrance is centrally located on the raised ground floor, with a single window in the basement. The windows have 9- and 12-pane glazing. The main cottage has coped end stacks and a pantiled roof with a slate easing course, while the gabled extension has a corrugated-asbestos roof and loft roof lights.
