Description

18 Crovie is a cottage built in the early to mid-19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with a basement and raised ground floor that are built against the side of a hill. The cottage features three bays and is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted reveals and a harled gable.

The central entrance has a panelled door that is reached by a flight of steps, which oversails the central basement doorway. There are two windows flanking the entrance. A single basement window and a raised ground floor window are located on the seaward gable. The cottage also has two later wallhead canted dormers, with mainly two- and four-pane glazing. It has end stacks and a slate roof.

Additionally, there is a small store at the south gable, which has a corrugated asbestos roof.
