Description
40 Crovie is a cottage from the early to mid-19th century, featuring two storeys with a raised ground floor over a basement built against a hillside. The cottage has three bays and is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted reveals. The central entrance on the raised ground floor is accessed by a flight of steps, with two windows on either side. There is an additional entrance in the basement and a single window in the seaward gable. The windows have modern two-pane glazing with timber frames. The cottage has coped end stacks and a pantiled roof with a slate easing course.
