Description
38 Crovie is a cottage that likely dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is a single-storey building with a dormerless attic and features three bays. The front is made of random rubble, while the gables and rear are harled. The entrance is centrally located, with a very small window to the left and a slightly enlarged window to the right, positioned near the southeast angle. The seaward gable has a deep rubble base course, paired windows on the ground floor, and two very small gablet windows. There are end stacks, one of which has been renewed in brick, and the roof is pantiled, although it was originally thatched.
