Description

39 Crovie is an early 19th-century cottage that has been later heightened. It is a single storey and attic structure with three bays. The front is made of rubble, with variations above the window and door lintels indicating the heightening, and the gable is harled. The entrance is centrally located, with enlarged windows on either side. There are pairs of windows on both the ground floor and attic in the seaward gable. The cottage features a later gabled wallhead dormer, two enlarged windows at the rear, and an additional wallhead dormer. The glazing is modern, consisting of two panes with wooden frames. There is a single end stack, and the roof is covered with pantiles.
