Description
Braemore Lodge is a circa 1840 dwelling, with later 19th-century additions, built on the site of a simpler single-storey house likely dating from around 1800. The lodge is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a symmetrical three-bay facade with a central door. The construction is of coursed rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. A double-leaf panelled door is set at the centre, and is flanked by canted bay windows added in the late 19th century. Three piended dormer windows from around 1840 break the wallhead, all with 12-pane glazing. End stacks are present, and the roof is a shallow piended slate roof with deep projecting eaves.
